yesod1@livejournal.com BioHi! I'm on LJ so I can have a convenient place to share pictures and thoughts with old and new friends, have the occasional discussion, and generally add some thread to the social fabric.
For those of you who don't know me, I spend most of my time in charitable pursuits, particularly in local hunger relief and land conservation. I've been fortunate enough to be able to retire *way* early, so I can spend my time doing the things I think are most worthwhile.

Spirituality is fairly well integrated into my life, and I find a great deal of joy in those things which connect me with the natural world, whether it's farming, hiking, or a simple appreciation of New England's changing seasons. This sense of connection -- with people as well! -- is the essential influence informing my work in the world.
Supplementing and interwoven with the above are a number of other interests, including lapidary, photography, singing and dancing, most of which I do badly but with spirit.
